Now I know that political humor doesn't age well; still, Vive La Dynasty has a couple of amusing parallels to the Clinton regime.  The reason I had to grab was the artist: Chuck McCann.  He is a big name from my childhood.  I was lucky enough to live in New York when children's shows were locally produced Chuck McCann and Soupy Sales loom large in my fond memories.  What a time to be a kid original comedy every afternoon!  Chuck McCann was also the original voice of the "I'm Cuckoo for Coco Puffs" bird, he has been featured in several (short-lived) TV shows (anyone remember "A New Kind of Family"?) and been a supporting player in many movies.  To me, one of his best achievements is an Oliver Hardy impersonation that is very true to Hardy's own on-screen character McCann understands that stupidity and malice are in no way part of Oliver Hardy, a point that most others miss.
