Cranky Corner
Word is that last year, some label in England reissued one of William Shatner's masterpieces of recorded effluvia and now they've gone and dug up Leonard Nimoy's contribution to sonic torture, Highly Illogical.

Think of the circumstances that led to the making of this album. It must be strange to be famous, and be able to have credence lent to whatever you do, no matter how bad it is. Nimoy's use of the microphone was pushing the limits of human decency with his pompous pronouncements on Star Trek. To actually have him bleat and bray in a vain attempt at producing music represents either extreme sadism on the part of someone with clout at the record company or total obsession with making a quick buck. Even when he gives up trying to simulate a melody and delivers a prose piece, the content and delivery are enough to make one gag. Why reissue this mess? Well, if you have a taste for trash, at least you won't have to pay the outrageous price this thing fetches on LP.  File this under curiosity another in the surprisingly long list of celebrities who should have been told that they have no business in a recording studio.
