Score: 75  100 means excellent.  Scores range from 0 to infinity, infinity being best.  This score is pure opinion, not scientific fact.  Score is sorta kind of based on the enjoyment during initial + repeated listening, the "must have" value of anything on the album, and how much good stuff and chuckles did I get?  A slight consideration given to the cost and packaging of the album.  Price paid: $11.95 plus $2.50 for shipping (Same shipping cost for one or more CD's at cdstreet.com )  Tracks ranked on goodness per minute rather than total goodness per track.  Hit songs are not that long, eh?

Larry Weaver writes:  "Hi Eric. I thought your review was well-written. I'd give the CD at least an 85, but oh well. Post away!"

Real mass produced CD.  Sound quality: Pretty good, but less than CD quality.  Sometimes the background noise varies abruptly, revealing the taped and edited nature of the recording.  Competent music playing.  Even a few catchy tunes, the kind you can remember after the CD has stopped playing.

The songs in order from best to worst.
Best
01.  Grandpa's Gone Gangsta  02:58
A pretty song with the guitar and mandolin picking and the plink plinking and the message about MTV-watching Grandpa who thinks he's a gangsta, full of rapper expressions.

07.  Am Rebel I (Punk Anthem)  03:01
Larry says "wanker" in a no wanking zone, and other rebel horrors.  OK, that wasn't exactly in the song but that's the basic idea: rebellious behavior that's not too threatening.  Several good lines and good music.

06.  Advice From The Outhouse  01:13
A gooberfied country version of the "use sunscreen" thing.

05.  Country Folks Can Survive!  02:19
A good sounding song on the virtues of good ol' hard-working inbred country living.

02.  Help for your Rap Addicted Grandparent  01:03
An sequel to the "Grandpa's Gone Gangsta" song in the form of an advertisement for Charter, the get-help-for-rap-addicted-grandpas place.

13.  I'll Be There With You (The R&B Song)  05:36
A love song that could have been for Debbie, because "Smooth L" is never going to score.  Better than Arsenio Hall's "Chunky A" character.  You might even laugh.

10.  Mr. Spicy  02:38
It's the behind-the-scenes making of "I'll Be There With You",  with the record company trying to sexify and funkifry it despite of what Larry thinks.

11.  Woman To Domino's  02:12
(parody of "Woman To Woman" by Shirley Brown)  The two Simpsonesque voices are semi-amusing.  Did you notice the recycled background music from "Mr. Spicy" here?

03.  500% More Crab  03:47
A blues song, with simulated scratchy record noise, and some more rap language, sung by a crab about a crab's life.  Why?  Because it's nuts.

09.  I'm The Man of Her Dreams (In my Dreams)  03:21
"Then I realize that I'm just another fool
When I wake up in a puddle of my own drool"
The music is pretty slow, causing my mind to wander from listening.

08.  Karate Chop Chimp  01:26
An "ABC after school special" that again raises the question "Why?".

04.  Trailer Ghost Exterminators  01:37
An advertisement fer mobile home ghost removal.  Lurlene take note.

12.  Little Debbie  04:15
Sounds like a live performance (or is it Memorex?).  A love song for Little Debbie the snacky cake brand.  Contains two quickie rap parodies.  The music is pretty slow, making it harder to concentrate on the boring lyrics.
