Neil Hamburger "America's Funnyman" (1996)

THIS IS THE WORST STAND-UP COMEDY ALBUM EVER!!!  IT'S ODORIFFIC!  IT STINKS!!!
  A man attempts standup comedy in a casino setting.  His own small audience is heckling him frequently.  Never the least bit funny, it seems that the laughter and applause of a larger audience were added to the recording after the show.  Then there is a full 5 minutes of no dialog, just the clunking sound of wood and the flicking of a cigarette lighter, also mixed with laughter.  That was the least annoying part of the album.

I ONLY play material that I like or think will be liked by my listeners.  Absolutely NO Neil Hamburger!!!  I'm glad we see eye to eye on that one.  Did you know that he has THREE CDs out and that they sell out each time they are released?!  I'm still trying to figure out if he's THAT bad or if he is one shrewd little weasel who knows that he has no talent whatsoever but can sell his material to the unsuspecting, knowing they can't get a refund.

My name is also Eric (smart people think alike) and I'm a sophmore at NYU and my roommate will not stop playing that stupid Neil Hamburger CD. I mean it's not even funny, it's totally pathetic... I mean come on his own audience isn't even laughing!!!!!! I'm sure like you're gonna buy an Eddie Murphy CD that was done on record in front of a live audience of people and nobody is even laughing at his jokes...I don't think so. You seem really cool I hope you find some better tapes and CD's than that Neil Hamburger one.
